shadowfreak1101's birthday game over: Game of Things Redux

EDIT: Due to not having enough signatures, I'm rescheduling this to July 3rd, that way I know more of you can sign up since you won't have schoolwork to do. Yep, bringing back this game. Same rules as last year, but if you weren't here, here's how it goes: A card is read by "the reader" (example: Th...

Re: Shocktober 2010!!

Well, I showed Tom a very gruesome death in the first Tomb Raider, which I sent to him a couple months back. Though I doubt that really fits the theme (although there are moments where things jump out of nowhere), I'd almost say we could put that up.

Gruesome video game deaths

We all know dying in video games is a very common sight. For some in can happen in the blink of an eye (ex. Contra), for others you can literally take hundreds of hits and still live thanks to healing items/party members/etc. (ex. most RPGs). However, some of these are far more gruesome than others....

Top 20 PlayStation games.

Well, I was thinking if the N64 could have a Top 10, the PlayStation should get one as well. However, as it had a larger library, I extended it into a Top 20. Here's my list: 20. Tomb Raider Chronicles 19. Resident Evil 3 18. Tomba! 2 17. Crash Bash 16. Tomb Raider 3 15. Crash Bandicoot 14. Resident...

Re: Best Console Ever!?

The Gamecube was a great, and often underrated system, bringing such gems (well at least to me) like: Super Smash Bros. Melee (fave SSB), Metroid Prime (2nd fave Metroid after Super), Super Mario Sunshine (fave Mario game), Mario Kart: Double Dash (fave Mario Kart), Pikmin, and LoZ: Wind Waker (2nd ...

Re: I love Super Mario Bros.

Super Mario Bros.? Never heard of it. Super Luigi Bros.? Great game, began a whole new evolution in gaming. But in all seriousness, SMB was probably the reason we have gaming today, especially since the gaming crash in the early 80's, and this one game almost single-handedly brought it back from the...

Re: Username Origins

To be honest, I just made mine on the spot. The 1101 was mostly just added for show, but because of it, I went back and looked up the binary number system (and randomly found out that 1101 = 13 in binary, which I thought was pretty cool)

Re: Final Fantasy VII.

While not my favorite FF (honor going to FF6), FF7 was truly a marvel to behold, combining the 3D graphics of the PS1 with the story and music we've all come to know and love. The Materia system was well thought out albeit rather broken at the endgame, and the characters were also thought out rather...

Re: Discuss Life.

Ah life. It's like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're gonna get. Each life has a different box, with varied chocolates within. Some have it easy, with the same type at every moment. Some have extremely sweet and extremely bitter ends. Some are large, some are small, and some may not eve...

Greetings everyone, shadowfreak1101 here, or for the forums just shadowfreak, as I felt the numbers were a bit excessive. I am quite fond of gaming, mostly more of a semi-classic gamer, though I have some skill in more modern as well; biggest franchises for me include Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Drag...
