Re: The Community as a Whole

I agree with everything that Rath has said.

I'll say nothing else because I'm pretty sure anything else I have to say would offend a good number of people

Re: Stream Moderators - Out of Control?

I'm just going to outright say that NO current mods are abusing their powers. They do what they have to, people break the rules, they will kick and ban if needed. If they are new, the mod(s) that are there may be more lenient on them in case they haven't read the rules (which they really should) or ...

Re: Official Community Censored Word List

Personally, it's not a word commonly in use in our chatroom these days. Same with twat which is on the list and as I said, that doesn't mean anything offensive over here. Reminds me of spaz/spastic which means something worse over here than in America. (remember it in Mario Party before being recal...

Re: Official Community Censored Word List

Sorry but if you're going to have the word 'twat' in the censor list, you should have the word 'retard' and 'retarded' in the list as it is often associated with being mentally stupid. In the same vein, twat is often associated with calling someone a twat aka stupid similar to a british word "You pl...

Re: Ongoing Concerns

I will agree with you Pelord in that half op jobs aren't really specified. My take on it would be that if you can kick/ban people then you should be trusted to help keep order in the chat however I do concede that the job description doesn't really specify that (though I personally believe it should...

Re: Ongoing Concerns

I would agree with most points myself, especially the first point however I won't tread over that since most people know how I feel though whither* they agree or disagree with how I feel is another story (and I won't name names here either though I have spoken to people in private myself about this ...

Re: A list of concerns

Yes, those are the only languages the website uses. PHP is going to be going in a lot later. The information on the main page below the stream and on the "About" page are image files so we can use any font we want and have it centered perfectly without having to worry about cross-browser compatibil...

Re: A list of concerns

Looking at the website source code just now... Does it use php or another server-side language? If it's strictly XHTML/CSS/javascript. I could give it a try if you wish to send me the files. I have a local development server on my comp and if I could get it working the way it did on my old comp, I s...

Re: A list of concerns

I agree that the rules need to be enforced, but they also need to be revised. Many times over the past couple of years have I become frustrated or stressed because someone was doing something they shouldn't have been doing and we just let it slide or undo the ban set upon them. It's as though the r...

Re: A list of concerns

Ok Yuki, for the record: Your first post seemed like you were having an attitude with me so I responded in a similar way back to you. I'm not going to respond to the rest of the post because I honestly feel like I am hitting my head against a brick wall. Instead I am going to copy and paste what I w...

Re: A list of concerns

New post because of how long that was finally, I would like to add that, I am bringing this up in order to discuss it openly but that isn't exactly easy when making excuses like "ignoring banon's stuff that goes against the rules" or "Wyvern has the same advantages that other cohosts have". It's all...

Re: A list of concerns

Okay, I'll need to split this up. This is something you honestly should have brought up with tom directly (not to mention I have already brought up such things with tom myself as a mod.) As Donna said, Tom pointed us in the direction of this forum. This point is moot for the rules being enforced, it...

A list of concerns

Hi, This is a list of concerns that I feel should be brought up, from the more pressing concerns to the least pressing concerns but I feel I should bring them up and I know that some others feel the same way in some (or all) of the concerns I have listed below. I know I may not be the most popular h...

Re: Claim Your Character- Final Fantasy 8

Just as a note: There is a sort of character that you get to name at the end of disk 2 and who appears (again iirc) much later on in the game. (not sure if I can spoil this, maybe Yuki will remember who I mean though) Griever which if you wish to put it down, I'd also like to claim :) since it's not...

The Tales of series... one of the best RPG series ever Namco needs to get more Tales of out in the west. I loved playing tales of destiny: Directors cut and Tales of destiny 2 on my PS2, wish they were in english but :( I wish they would release tales of vesperia PS3 though and Tales of Graces F whe...
