Re: Suggestions for Sunday's WiiPlay Slot

I second the Alex Kidd series for the fact that it's probably not too familiar of a series for most people watching the stream (myself included), yet was a somewhat popular Genesis/Master System series back in the day. Also there are about 5-6 games in the series so it will last you a few Sundays.

Re: Shocktober 2012!!!

Since Tom has the Nintendo DS capture device I would suggest that he plays the 3 Castlevania DS games: Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia.

Also I would like to suggest House of the Dead: Overkill (for Game Over though because of excessive language  )

Re: Super Mario All-Stars (Limited Edition)

I'm personally not gonna buy it due to it being a direct port of the SNES version, which I already have. The only collectible in the package I'd be interested in is the CD, and when you factor out the sound effect clips, you're only getting 10 songs.

Killing Floor (PC). Players: Typical team is 6, but custom servers can allow more. It's a Unreal Tournament 2004 mod that eventually became it's own standalone game. Basically it's an FPS that sends waves of zombies (different classes) at your team, ending with a final boss after the waves. It is a ...

Re: Eternal Sonata

I enjoyed the game and the improved AI made it a good challenge (Count Waltz/Ruined Body fight, I'm looking at you). It did get a bit repetitive though (probably cuz I stuck to Allegretto/Jazz/Viola most of the game) and the ending was kind of weird but I enjoyed the game for the most part

I have to say my favorite Ben & Jerry's flavor is Chubby Hubby (which is probably the unhealthiest one too). It has chocolate-coated, peanut-butter filled pretzels, in vanilla and caramel ice cream. While not exactly ice cream, I've been really getting into a place called Rita's Italian Ice. Their s...

Penumbra and it's sequel...never played them but I hear they are psychologically creepy

Same company is working on a game called Amnesia: The Dark Descent due out in August or September, and it's a creepfest as well.

Re: Your favorite Atari games

As for overly complex games that were intentionally made that way go, research the Swordquest games. Quite an interesting history behind those. Atari actually gave away gold prizes to the first people to complete the first two (and would have done the same for the later two if the company held up)....

Your favorite Atari games

I actually grew up playing an Atari and had quite a number of games for it. What's everyone's favorite Atari games? I'll list a few of mine (including things ported from arcades and such)

Warlords (probably my favorite)
Yar's Revenge
Jungle Hunt
River Raid
Enduro
