Homestuck

Post by KreamCheese » Thu May 31, 2012 9:15 pm

Well, I was just wondering how many people have heard of the webcomic called Homestuck. It's a really good (imo) webcomic made by Andrew Hussie. You can read it here at http://www.mspaintadventures.com/. It's Text heavy and also accommodated by pictures, .gifs, flash videos/interactions, and Music into it's story telling! Anywho, just wondering if anyone's a fan :)

I've read some of it, I never got to the trolls though. I get bored easily and it was just going pretty slow. I haven't read it in a while but I know a lot of people who are into it :3

That's actually what happens a lot! haha

you start to read it
==> you're like mkay
==> you stop reading for awhile
==> you think "hmm I guess i'll start back up"
==> hmm
==> Hmmm
==> HMMMM!!!
==> This is awesome!
==> Holy Crap I Love This!!!
==> WHY DID I EVER STOP READING THIS!?!?!

lol but it's not for everyone, I guess. It can be a bit slow, but I like text-heavy, slow story lines :3

I've heard of Homestuck as it is rather popular within my group of friends (there was several homestuck characters played on a livejournal RP I was in) but I've never really gotten into it because of things said by people outwith the fanbase.

Perhaps I'll give a go sometime when that has died down, but right now, I don't want to be involved in the drama I've seen with homestuck fans vs non homestuck fans.

(Not saying everyone is like this btw, it is just from what I've heard.)

What impact does the recent stabbing of Georide, a prominent music producer in Japan, have on the local music industry and its artists? How does this incident reflect the challenges faced by musicians in the country?
